1. Solvent, dispersant agent or diluting agent: used for industries as paints, inks, printing and dyeing, agricultural chemicals, cellulose and acrylic ester. It may also be used as fuel anti-freeze agent, cleaning agent, extractant, and nonferrous metal ore-dressing agent. It may also be used as organic synthetic raw material. 2. It is mainly used as good solvent for nitrocellulose, alkide resin and MAH (maleic anhydride) modified phenol formaldehyde resins; used as jet thinner antifreeze agent and additive for stopping agent; and may be used as solvent for inks, textile dyestuff, and textile finish oil.
